I will not be long tonight. This last week was school, master’s, and an ELT conference (which was very enjoyable!) Other than that, there hasn’t been too much going on except a lot of planning and working for our summer project in Senegal. Here’s a video that we have put together about our plans:
The other thing that I want to share is something that I’ve been mulling on, and seeing as how this week is leading us up to the greatest celebration that I know of, I think that it is very fitting. I’ve been studying the book of Acts in the Bible, and this simple explanation of the Gospel has been a huge encouragement to me lately:
“Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know – this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknolwedge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.” (Acts 2:22-24)
I don’t have to say anything more, that is what this week is about. I’m excited.
