Senegal . . .

It had been my intention to stay up with this blog even while we were running our first English camp in Senegal this last week. But, guess what? That didn’t happen!! We have been crazy busy this week, but it has been so amazing! We have had the most wonderful time here with the teachers and students that are now our friends. We held camp from Monday to Friday for around 65 students and on Saturday we led some workshops for around 35 English teachers from Northern Senegal.

It has been an honor and a privilege to be here and learn from our friends and colleagues in this part of the world. We have learned so much, and hopefully we have been able to share some of our knowledge as well. It has been really a great experience. If you’re interested in reading some more about what has been going on, then please visit our website and check out the Blog link.

So, please do forgive me for my absence during this week, but I trust that you will, and I promise to share some stories and pictures and things we’ve learned in the next few weeks. In the meantime, leave a comment below letting me know how your summer is going!! I really can’t wait to share more about mine!!
